12.6 miles -- new route

Today's training: 12.6 miles, home to 2x lake A laps, 2:17:18 (10:54 min/mi), avg 139 bpm/max 148/9:10 above 145
This week: 38 miles

I ran a new route today. It's 2.26 mile to a nearby lake trail (lake A) per google earth. I've been told it's 3.8 miles around the lake. Today I did 2.26 + 2*3.8 + ~0.5 from missing a turn + 2.26 home is ~12.6 miles. The foot pod died again of course so I couldn't measure it well.

I was very slow today although I didn't feel 10:54 min/mi slow. Who knows. It is a pretty hilly route, but in terms of total ascent/descent it's the same or very slightly less than my run to work.

I was hoping the trail would help my heel, but it hurts quite a bit now, so all around not a great day. I like the other lake trail better, but this one is close, so I don't have to drive.
