Maybe it was the toe, or maybe it was a lack of motivation, but I didn't run this morning. The toe is red, puffy and a little disturbing, so I think I made the right call. It's doing somewhat better tonight. The blister is now just a shell, but the damage has been done on my toenail and the top of my toe behind my nail is where it really hurts. When my foot flexes and my shoe bends, the crease hits right there. Tomorrow I'm planning on 14. I was entertaining the idea of a 10K on Saturday to get a little inspiration, but I'll probably pass.
